We started the official adoption process to bring M. home in late October. We heard the process was daunting, but that was an understatement! It keeps reminding me of that "I've Been Everywhere Man" song....but the lyrics would go something like this: Agency application, application fees, letters of reference, employer letters, notary, power of attorney, more letters of reference, police clearance, home study paperwork, home study fees, home study meetings, home study visits, loan application, loan denial, loan approval, DMV clearance, DFS clearance, passport photos, passport application, passport fees, family photos, notary, travel shots, dossier paperwork, dossier fees, I600 application, I600 fees, notary, notary, notary, waiting, waiting, waiting......I've been everywhere man!
